Saint Valentine's Day
Saint Valentine is the patron saint of love.
Valentine's Day is a very popular festival and it's celebrated on 14th February.
On this day people send a "Valentine", which is a card with a message of love, a sweetheart, a friend or family member, they also give them presents and flowers.
Even children send Valentine cards with messages of friendship to their friends.
Some symbols of this celebration are: a heart with an arrow, Cupid (a small boy with a bow and arrows), a red rose...
Chocolates and heart shaped cakes are very popular on this day.
